bike up grades

just wanted to check this will be ok

1. i want some hope pro II hubs and want to know if my hayes discs will fit?

2. i want some more stopping power up front as i am a big guy i have a 6" rotor as standard and would like to replace with a 7" one am i right in think this is what i need plus disc
