    That looks quite a nice ride, nice photos too, impressive packed lunch, pork pies yum. How far did you ride?
    Why use brakes? Falling off is a much quicker way to stop

    We did about 48 miles there tracklogs route file which you download and look at on past reports page, see link at bottom of the photo page. I did about 58 miles that day has I rode to the start.

    you did 58 miles!!!! wow, if i had a hat i'd take it off to you. I cant see me joining you on a ride, your all too hardcore for me, i'll just look at the pretty photos

    I think most cyclists can do 48 miles in 8 hours with two cafe stops and lunch stop. Over twos thirds of the ride was on road.
