Just got a Race Face swingarm protector but unfortunately it's no good as the shape of the swingarm means it doesn't fit well and it rubs on the tyre. Does anyone know of any that fit?

I've just got a new 5 SE, I've stuck a lizard skin chainstay sticker on the bottom edge of the swing arm, it has prevented any damage so far, if you use the carbon leather one, it deadens the sound too!0

I use Helicopter tape on mine!0

I have put the B&Q equivalent of copter tape on there and it's gone through it after 1 ride. I've also noticed today that there's some scratches on the frame which have come from travelling in the back of my car. And I've lost the front brake bleed valve cover - ho hum!0

Ahhh, my REAL 'copter tape has lasted 1000 miles so far and is only pealing on one corner cause I cocked up the application...0

Maybe I should buy some of the proper stuff then, where did you buy it from?0

I've used 'helicopter' tape on my chainstay with no problems.
On my frame the gear cable has rubbed down to the metal. So I put some 'helicopter' tape on it but after two rides it's gone straight through it. Anybody else having the same problem? Any solutions?0 -
