Could Mucoff on the cassette cause any harm to freewheel

Hi All,

Just puzzled as to why the freewheel on my wifes bike is stating to sound a bit ropey. Could it be that mucoff sprayed on it and then rinsed off a few minutes later has gotten into the freehub and disrupted its lubrication?

    It's a DT Swiss custom for Specialized 370

    The regular clear tick tick noise has changed as the wheel starts to slow down and stop with what I could best describe as out of time clicks and incomplete ticking and scratching noises.

    yeah I thought maybe. Would you put any type of lube in there after?
