What a diference (pat on the back)

Since January I have ridden 3 times the miles that I did last year over the same period last year. I’ve been riding more hills and longer rides than ever before.

Finally in the last week or two, I have been flying around. Every hill seems easier. A hill climb which was slow at 17.19 last year was 16.01 and I didn’t notice where it kicked up. (no I wasn’t taking it easy)
I flew up a steep hill that was normally 9-10 mph at 14-15 yesterday. The hills Bwlch and Rigos which are 3.5-5 miles at 5-6% seem much easier and I’m fresher at the top. I’ve also managed a 100 miler without blowing up so learnt to feed myself appropriately too.

As you can imagine, this has boosted my confidence.
Anyone else want to give themselves a pat on the back? Go for it

Ooo, this is my 1000th post too! 8)
