a complete amateur question im afraid, im looking to replace the shimano deore rear mech on my 05 coiler but am getting really confused by the different types out there! i just want an XT rear mexh that will run with the deore shifters! cheers

What exact Deore mech do you have now? Read the model number off it if unsure.

Do you know if it is rapid rise or not? There should be a product number on it ie M571 or something.0
