As I have a pre-existing knee "issue" I want to cover myself against the odd fall and aggravating the current problem.

661 pads seem popular currently and get good reviews but I don't want anything too bulky as I'm more into riding singletrack than DH and movement is key. I've seen the Veggie Wraps and Kyle Straits and wondered if anyone had any opinions about whether these would do for burning around the forest, up hill and down dale or had any other recommendations

Cheers
