Can anyone tell me the answers to the following please?

What is the standard length of a crank arm ie what would most factory built bikes come with 170mm length or 125mm length?

And:

What is the normal cage length of a rear mech lon or medium?

Thanks in advance,

125mm??? where you get that from, most bikes will come with 160-180 depending on what bike it is, and the answer to your second question depends what what cassette is on it and the cranks (single double or triple) if its triple its usually long, medium for double and short or medium for single

Most standard bikes come with long cage mechs and 175mm cranks.

I think 125 was a typo, maybe he meant 175?

Yes obvious typo really should be 175mm

i found 175mm a wee bit too long, more comfy with 170mm that's with my 31" inside leg.
