    Actually my second 'Sprint' Tri.

First was Hayle last August. Found that one much harder & really struggled on the swim then.

Dazza - any luck with your rear shock?

Yes, got the first bit of good news today, mojo who are the uk importers of fox were mucking tf tuning about as they ordered my shocks plus a load of other parts.

Luckily the order that came in today contained my shock, it's now been fully rebuilt and specced to my weight/riding style.

Fingers crossed it'll be on the bike come tomorrow if not wednesday by the latest.:)

Ive been climbing the walls with all this sun about.

Going from the forecast yup, i'll prolly extend it to the new section after everyone has finished as helen did find a great stretch of trail.

Ive sorted the shifting to the big ring, it's now buttery smooth no more skipping.

The fox is fantastic btw, i really can't get over how plush it is and how it climbs, trouble is it outshines my rebas.

Good job i can get those pushed when they need a service.

Good job you didn't ride further then.

That's the trouble when the weather is good, i just keep going, was a cracking ride though, did have a numpty rambler type have a go at me as i stayed left same as he did.

Thing was if the plank opened his eyes he wouldn't have switched lanes to where i was to begin with, i just wanted to see if he had his eyes open.

Aren't you meant to stay left anyway?

By bike i think though i was drifting a bit thanks to the hot weather.

Ride was great, especially as i finally have a flat lode continual loop thanks to rob, it does extend from those engine houses i showed you, i just had no idea where it was.

Im dying to ride today but id best not, i'll probably ride tomorrow and possibly wednesday as the weathers meant to be tuning sour thursday onwards.

    Mmmm sun!!

Hi There, I usually travel down to Rock or Newquay in Cornwall in the summer, It'd be great to meet up with anyone planning a ride out near there or if you have details of any decent routes i'd love to hear from ya?

Jonboy - we haven't ventured that way yet - Polzeath isn't too bike friendly (I grew up there) despite having some stunning footpaths. Mid and West Cornwall seem better in general.

Just spent five days in Spain (Med coast nr French border) - no cycling for me despite massive potential but a lot of sea swimming and coastal running - lovely :D

Just post on here when you are due to come down.

There will be a run on somewhere on that weekend & I'm sure you'll get one or two who will go out in the eves.

I'll take an extra bottle to boot, wasn't nice being caught short, then again may as well take my camelbak i suppose.

I'll find out about the train times tomorrow as i have a lot on today, still have to go gym and get ready for the pub tonight oh and wash the car it's filthy

But i'll post up here soon as i know, it's usually hit n miss with the trains.

Food, i have plenty of this time around. ;)

Never done many epics so thought i could get away with it, clearly not. :?

See you all (well some of you) on Sunday - got to dash off as usual afterwards (party in Bristol at 5pm) but still around for the duration.

Surf is utterly perfect at the moment so I'm on cloud 9!
