Caring for Fox 32 Vanilla R (140mm)

Just bought a new bike with the above forks, which are the first Fox forks I have ever owned.

I have Rock Shox Tora's on my other bike, which I used to clean regularly after every ride, and then apply RedRum to the stanchions near the dust seals.

What do I need to do with regards to the Fox forks? Is it just a case of wiping them clean after every ride and that's it?

10 months on,my Van Rs are working fine after just being wiped down.

There was a recent thread here though about lubricating forks,something about foam rings etc and how fork oil is peachy when it comes to lubing.

I'm fairly sure I read somewhere though that silicone spray can also be used on the seals? May be in all my assorted bike leaflets/literature/bumpf/MBUK/WMB?
Silicone spray rejuvenates rubber and I use it a lot in my line of work,but I need to confirm it before I use it (must pull out the 12 inch thick pile of manuals).

I would avoid silicone - use oil, preferably the same stuff in the fork, or teflon chain lube.

i just wipe my forks down, always have done and they seem to last. same with the rear shock too.

I'm using teflon chain lube on my air forks now, gently squeezing the dust seal so it lifts (a little) away from the stanchion, they are noticeably smoother.
