I was in the area but have moved away. I get over occasionally for a ride in Rivington - will be going again once I get my new bike.

Come and join us we're based around the St Helens area, so not that far away for you.
We head out Thursday's on local night rides and every other Sunday we go further a field

Feel free, introduce yourself on the forum. See you soon
  • We have a group that rides the manchester area

Our group has been campaigning to get a northshore, 4cross track, duel track and dirt jump park built in Stockport. We have £1.2 million (yes million) of funding already guaranteed. All we need it to convince those in power to say yes and we need you help to do it.

A draft technical report has already been produced by the group. Hopefully the trial master from MTBUK will be working on the project.

To read the report follow this link. We are looking for feedback on it before circulating it outside the MTB community.

There is a web site to support the technical report but it's only half finished.

Ths is a project that can halp a varity of people from the young to the more mature rider. There will be a subsidised MTB training centre to get the kids from the area into something more positive than hanging out on street corners or 'happy slapping'

Thanks for reading this far and I hope to see some of you at our meetings

    Cheers
