went out for leisurely 22 miler b4. felt great initially, first 10 mile was fine then to get from canal to cheshire lines i hit a little cut through road, about 2mile. wind in face all the way with a couple of small/ medium bridges. this seemed to take in right out of me and the last 12 mile were bleedin' hard work. i had my dinner couple of hours b4 i went out but i got that shakey feeling you get sometimes, when you seem to fiend mars bars or sugary drinks! 10 mph all the way home was a graft, it was that bad. moral of the story is never go on a ride without some kind of fuel food! :( i had nothing but my water.
anyway my legs at mo' feel achey and shakey!
anyone else been caught out like this?

It's not a nice place to be...

and it's worse when you don't realise how worn out you are until it's too late and you feel awful.

    fun!

I find that after hitting the wall then throwing up I always feel much better. mmmm.
