Overseas sportives - car hire

Has anyone any experience of, or recommendations for, overseas car hire firms who supply cycle racks/carriers?

Specifically Italian ones?

All of the websites allow you to add on extras including kitchen sinks, but not cycle racks.

All help gratefully received.

    I think Italians are the nicest people in the world- but just like in the UK- leaving bikes attached to the outside of cars in holiday areas is a recipe for losing them.

    get a larger car and keep the bike inside

    It was more from the point of transporting the bike from A to B when the car is full of family & junk.

    I'd gladly put the wife on the roof and my bike in the frontseat if I could get away with it.
