I am curious to know what is best to oil my chain with. (Don't say 'OIL' !!)

I have a quantity of Castrol Chain Wax that I don't use for the motorbike anymore, will this be ok for my treader too ?

not really. the pressures on the chain are totally different.

Bin/ebay the MC stuff and buy cycle chain lube. wet or dry dependent on conditions.

  • Muc off chain DOC/cleaner (Awesome, awesome bit of kit you can really see the old muck and oil come off).

And then use the same applicator/cleaner to apply the Muc Off chain dry lube!

    Works great!

Dry lube (such as white lightenintg which crc and wiggle apparently have discountinued, and were brilliant) for summer and a wet lube such as Finish Line for winter, i.e rain
