There is supposed to be a British Heart Foundation ride this summer.
I signed up for some info but haven't heard anything for a while.

There's a few routes out there, like this one on Bikeradar! that starts from Morden and picks up the Downs Link to Shoreham and then on the Brighton. Or there's this is route on MapMyRide from Croydon to Brighton. And finally, a description of a route done by Addiscombe CC from Croydon down to Brighton.0

I've been talking to the ladies at BHF.
They are planning an off-road ride from somewhere to the south coast, but having trouble with the route.

Looks good to me but the trouble is that to come back you cant use
the trains they dont accept bikes.
I know the organisers provide a coach to bring back bikes but they get
damaged as they put the bikes in the suitcase areas
I know this as i use to do the road cycle events and talked to many prople
on different routes they do.
Apart from that they are great well planned out routes
il be up for this one just have to get wife to take the Galaxy and
meet me at the other end

Funnily enough we're just back from riding from Farnborough to Shoreham and, apart from one hardy soul, we came back by train - Shoreham-Brighton-Clapham-Farnboro'.
Mind you there were only 3 of us - not several hundred having done a BHF ride :roll:
