When I first heard about this challenge, I just couldn't believe that he would do it. Amazing to have cycled 300 miles in one day. Average speed 19.5 mph! Simply staggering.
I may even be moved to donate!

I did 93 miles yesterday. When I got back, I was a right old state - my eyes were actually bloodshot! I just can't imagine what he's feeling like after that kind of cycle.
rest day today before the swim.

He's done it! That's some going. I hope he gets to catch up on some sleep now. Not to mention letting the saddle sore heal!

I keep seeing mention of him setting a new world record. Does anyone know what the record he's set actually is?

Congrats to 'Crackers' - I for one was doubtful he would make the 1400 mile bike ride - but he did, with elan, humour and a dogged determination.

Hopefully all that have followed this thread will donate?
