I recnetly went for my 1st ride in 5 years, and managed 30 miles. that aside, my left knee is stiff/painful on the inside towards the knee cap. Is this something related to the set up? I did have the bike and myself measured at LBS, but it fealt a little short.

Also, now that I have this sore knee, does it need cold or hot treatment? Thanks

Welcome to the wonderful world of cycling....

(if you feel that the seat is too low, just begin increasing it's height by increments of 6mm (~1/4") and see if that helps. (Wrap electrical tape around the seat post, just letting the bottom of the tape actually touch the frame; then raise the seat post and reposition the tape to touch the frame again.)

You'll also find some information on Knee issues in the TRAINING forum...

It will be your bike set up. Do you wear "clipless pedals"? If so, check cleat position carefully in addition to the above.

What do I ride? Now that's an Enigma!
