Carbon to carbon.

I have new carbon bottle cages and instead of a flat body(where the screws go through) they are concurved and mould into my frame. That means I have carbon to carbon and I am worried that I might deface or damage my carbon frame which would be a disaster.

Is this ok or do I put on some protective clear sticker type stuff or just return them.

Does the cage actually contact the frame, or just the boss? If it does contact the frame, then I might be tempted by a protective sticker, but then again, if your frame gets a little bit scratched under where the bottle cage attaches, who will ever know?

    Thanks Aracer

Its just the boss(at least if thats where the bolts go through) and I dont mind about a little scratch but I was more worried about damage to the frame. It is my first all carbon bike and it was quite expensive and would like to keep it good for many years. As long as it does not do any real damge to the frame and it should not if it is tight i will be happy to fit them.
