    As presumably the only real advantage is weight, and it is only about 30 or 40g lighter than a campag. 10 speed, that works out at about 6 or 7 UK pounds per gram...

    Wear it as a necklace and it'll seem cheap next to all that diamond-encrusted gold that the queen wears at posh dos.

    Come to think of it, when they start using diamond on chains and cassettes, all this cheap gear (£250 for a chain? Peanuts!) will be a thing of the past.
