Resistance in Race Face X-type cranks

Anyone else find that Race Face cranks don't spin freely when you turn them by hand? Is this normal behaviour for them, or do I need to do some swapping and changing. New BB by the way.

    did you have the bb shell faced? or checked that it has been faced?

    Yep. This is in several frames and only with Race Face BBs from Atlas and Diabolus cranks. Not my shimano ones.
