Anybody interested in purchasing a new frame in the next few months, should check out the latest Group Buy from Pedalforce.com
http://pedalforce.com/online/product_in ... ts_id=7548

If you sign up before the end of January the price is only $450.
The forks are another $95.
I reckon the import duty + VAT should be +/- £80

Which works out at around £350 for a very nice looking set of frame and forks.

I've put my name down for the red one and I can't wait.

Nice looking frame. Does anyone have one of these Pedalforce frames or one of their other similar offerings to be able to provide a review?

If you add in postage using the cheaper USPS, it'll be nearer the £390 - £400 I reckon, though that still appears to be good value.

Thanks for that. I don't actually need a new bike but I have a couple of days to think about this but I don't think I have too much to lose on it even though I probably wouldn't build it up until later in the year. I checked the warranty returns situation with them and they are willing to refund freight fees should the frame be damaged due to their causes.

How this will work in practice if actually required to be implemented remains to be seen but they have been quick to respond to email questions, seem to have a satisfied customer base on current models and mags have reviewed other models, so I have a warm feeling at the moment about them. It will work out at about £350 including USPS delivery to Oz so it seems a pretty good price to take a risk.

Did another 50 miles today. At the end of the day it's a carbon frame, and whatever the fanboys of expensive brands might think, most of the extra money you pay for one of those goes on a combination of paintjob, marketing and profit margins. It handles fine and looks fine, and is I reckon a bargain - the RS2 group buy is even more of a bargain. Oh, and the weights aren't optimistic - mine came in less than quoted.
