The benefits of buying a Polar HRM

I like many MTB'ers using a heart rate monitor when riding. When deciding which one to get I opted for a Polar one, purely because of the brand name and all the assurances of gurantees etc.
Now last weekend I crash and in the process smashed the screen on my watch, two buttons cracked and the strap broke.
So monday Tuesday moring packed it up and sent it off to Polar. And true to their word, within 48hrs of them receiving it they repaired it (for FREE!!!) and sent it back! Brilliant!!!
Now that's what you call service!..........So if you're thinking of getting an HRM there's only one brand!!!
