What's Rocked
for me this week:
What Sucked :evil: :
Anyone wish to add their own Rocked/Sucked for the week. By the sound of it nearly everyone has received new kit! That's got to Rock!
What's Rocked
for me this week:

Friend offering us 2 tickets for the sold out Scouting for Girls gig! Off to see them for the 3rd time!
A new pair of tyres for the bike - should help in the mud as the old ones are so worn that with a little more serious braking on tarmac I'll be running slicks!
It didn't rain last Sunday, and it's not forecast to rain this Sunday!
Had quite a laugh helping a friend fit new Toras to his bike last night!
What Sucked :evil: :

Getting the silent treatment when I got home, because I'd gone out and had fun playing with bikes with a mate rather than waiting at home when my wife was working late!
Getting a puncture last Sunday that didn't actually go flat 'til Tuesday.
So much mud last Sunday that my back brake was jamming on whenever I used it and had to rely on the front only for the last few miles of the ride
Endless rain

What sucks
Everybody else seems to have got new kit except me!!
Can't really afford any new kit as girlfriends booked us a holiday

At least I'm having a holiday this year, has been a while
Might see if I can find some cheap but shiny bits on the net this weekend

What rocks
1. Booked flights to Malta in the Autumn so I can go diving again.
2. Found out our latest addition will be a boy yesterday.
3. It's ten past two on friday (Crackerjack )
What sucks
1. No money for new shiny bike things (see what rocks point 1.)
2. Riding time may be curtailed in late May (see point 2 above).
3. Still got two hours before going home (see point 3).It's easier to ask for forgiveness than for permission.
I've bought a new bike....ouch - result
Can I buy a new bike?...No - no result0 -
What rocks:
1. Finally finishing off a huuuuuge report for uni.
2. Finding a website where you can download all of Gilles Peterson's old radio shows.
3. Receiving a shiny new bike pump the day after it was ordered.
4. Booking flights for snowboarding at beginning of March.
5. La Bottega pizzas half-price at Tesco.
What sucks:
1. Still got loads of uni work to do, had way more time off when I had a job.
2. Bottom bracket on its way out.
3. Skint after spending all my money on flights.
4. It's grim out.
5. No time for girls, so I've had a dry couple of months (see point 1)"The problem was, I was still using my eyes even though I had them shut"

-Getting new bike
-nailing loads of sweet trails, and finding i can now go even faster than than on my old bike, both up and down:)
-Back to uni on monday
- Finishing all the work deadlines

-accomdadtion people at uni are being ghey about my bike, and wont let me store it in my room (fire and safety danger...)
- Back to pasta and microwave/nearly out of date food. Not home/mum cooking:(0 -

Getting home and promptly falling off due to new clipless pedals and first time on them :oops:0 -
I keep mine in my room don't think they've realised yet...tried to ride down the stairs last term...carpet didn't offer as much friction as I'd hoped. :?
Rocks:
-Back in Swansea
-Can drink Brains again
-Got to take my Stinky on its first ride
-Found some riding 500 yards from my front door
Sucks

-The weather

I am off on a kind of holiday tomorrow morning to the south of France.
Its getting closer till I get the new frame.
I've had a great day on the X-box!!

I really need a piss and its 2 floors to the toilet, and I can't be arsed walking.
I have to get up at 6AM tomorrow to go on the little holiday.
The bike still isn't built and theres a bit to go till it is.0 -

BUT 5-1 ANIHALATED THEM............I AM SO HAPPY I COULD SHOUT IT OUT JUST ONE MORE TIME IF I HAD ANY VOICE LEFT LOL Still loving my Carrera Vulcan but also loving my commuter converted Raleigh Record Sprint ooo it's so quick and a great commute hack yippeee get to ride it again in the morning . . . . . can't wait ha ha0
