Zip tie-on Water Bottle Cage

Hi there,
I have just returned from a 20 year lay-off from riding, playing rugby and the like. Bought a new bike and as I am 16 stone thought I would get something fairly sturdy. Bought a Giant TCX Cyclo-cross which has been great. Just one issue no lugs for water bottles and I sweat a lot so I need the fluid. Does anyone know of a solution that does not involve drilling. :?:

    Hi try cable ties- I have used them to attach rear lights, computer etc, should work ok- Good luck

    I wouldn't use cable ties - simply not strong enough - the cage could slip round and interfere with your pedalling and cause you to lose control, or at least the cage will move and gouge your paintwork. Minoura make the BH-95 strap-on cage that uses a stainless steel band which is actually designed for the job or alternatively there's the seatpost / saddle mounted cages popular with triathletes - but don't tend to hold a bottle well on the bumpy stuff.
