Crazy riding- An inspiration or a menace?

Just been watching the 'drag race NYC' and was wodering is it just these guys furthering the sport and pushing it to the limits, or are they just being pillocks and are to be frowned upon?

    I think they are actually just being assholes and giving everyone a bad name.

    it looks like a whole load of adrenalin fuelled fun!!

    The probably do give us all a bad name right enough, but i would like to try one to see how I fare.

    you got to admit that being up close and personal with cars in rush hour is one of the main attractions of cycling / cycle commuting right? very exciting!

    Knowing the number of ar*eholes out there i think it is just a matter of time before they meet one who doesn't care that they are soft and bleed.Equally some of the pedestrians seem to be at risk from them as well. 'fraid it's a thumbs down from me.
