How to post a pic in a post?

How do you insert a pic in a post?
Does it have to be on a website, then insert the pic between img tab or can it be uploaded from pc?

is done by putting the link to the image between [ img ] and [ /img ], no spaces between the brackets

i.e.

[img]http://www.thebikeboutique.com/images/products/Planet%20X%20Chrono%20aug%2006.JPG[/img]

you need the picture props.

Still I could not manage it

I tried adding .sized.jpg on the end as that seems the only difference but it did not work.

I can see the difference now. the image is in images/myphotoalbum.com.
How did you figure that out?
if I backspace from that url you used I get page not found, but if I put actual image id's in it works. Its a bit complex though

right mouse click on the image then copy the properties http://images.myphotoalbum.com/o/ol/old ... hlight.jpg
and insert between the img tags

to give

DSCF1093.highlight.jpg
