MTX and S-type

hi all, does anyone know the difference between the sun s-type and mtx rims?

    do you mean mtx and mtx s type, look on chain reaction in the wheels rims section.

    I think s type may be the oem version, may be completely wrong though.

    s type is sleeved and the other is welded

    S-Type is joined with a mechanical sleeve and retails around £25-30

    MTX is joined with a mechanical sleeve and then welded, and retails around £45

    its worth paying for the MTX as both my S-Types cracked on the joint in crashes, my MTX's just got a bit bent but still usable
