I have been looking to build a faired recumbent, after looking at a few mostly very expensive i have decided to go whole hog and build my own.
I have seen plans on ebay for sale are they any good or is their any publications available.

THe British Human Power Club has a booklet free to members called "So you want to build an HPV" - very good advice, there are also projects and details of designs in the newsletter.

    You could also google "Coroplast"

This is the ubiquitous material for DIY fairings in the US and even if you fancy something more "elegant" then this is a good cheap material to use for trials and prototypes.
