Does anyone know of a reasonable quality rim that can be built up to make Birdy wheels? These are 18 inch and I am struggling to find any.

    There are two options.

St John Street (website is down so I cannot check) stock a wide range of unusual sizesso may be able to help

Otherwise go to one of the stockists,

Both have an "on-line" presence and you could contact both.

One of the draw backs of the Birdy is that the ISO 355 rim is not common, nor is the tyre choice wide.
