GPS software for pocket PC

Anyone know any good GPS software for pocket PC?

I was thinking about using my pocketPC phone as a GPS navigation unit/ cycle computer for my riding. Its GPS enabled and i just found some holders for it on google.

Ideally i want freeware but if i have to fork out a little i may go for it. I want to be able to download route maps to it, see my stats (avg speed, max speed etc) and possibly record a route but thats not essential.

    Nothing for free worth having. I use Tom Tom on my SPV m3100 (phone/pda) and it hasn't let me down yet. I had to get a bluetooth GPS receiver for mine which you won't need if it's built in. You can get Tom Tom for the phone for about £60-£70 although I'm sure that it is possible to find it cheaper.

    Does tom tom allow you to download off road trail routes onto it such as the ones in the routes section?

    not too sure. I only use it for road navigation but I'm sure someone will have the answer to that.

    Hope so.

    If not I may be able to borrow a standard tom tom and give it a shot.

    Doesn't Memory Map interface with pocket PC, PDA, and handheld GPS devices?

    Tom Tom only works on roads.

    Memory map.... fantastic tool!

    I have it on my XDA orbit and will not be getting lot again....big woods hold no fear for me anymore... and I can see exactly how slowly and badly I do :D

    Thanks guys ill try downloading the trial verion tonight. If its good all I need is a mount :p

    Yep, memory map!

    It's bloody great on a PDA.

    I use it to log all my tracks then look back over them on the PC. You get elevation data, speed graphs and the 3d World is great.

    I don't mount the PDA (ooeerr!) on the bike, I keep it in my pocket.

    Isn't Memory Map addictive...I can spend ages just looking at maps anyway, so this app's ace.

    Really like the look of your bike matey. Could I ask what gear cables you've got and if you rate them? I've just got the boggo Shimano type and am wondering whether it's worth it to upgrade.

    I'm coming up for a renewal on my mobile contract . . .

    So can you load Memory map on to any phone / pda?

    I know some would need a gps receiver attached via bluetooth.

    What is the best phone to get?
