    That's the second thing that crossed my mind after hearing about the Spanish footballer's death ('how tragic' being the first) - has this anything to do with something he may have been taking?

    Three heart attacks in a week, from a sport that is known to have a history of EPO abuse (in Italy at least & maybe Spain) and absolutely no suggestion in the press that its anything other than preexisting heart conditions. It's very interesting.

    Details on Antionio Puerta here. As already mentioned, no info on pre-existing heart conditions or natural defects. Given its football I'm guessing post-mortem details will not be released and the case will quietly go away.

    I thought footballers all had to have extensive medicals nowadays - surely these would pick up heart problems they were born with? Sounds fishy to me... but also young blokes are sometimes very 'macho' about playing when carrying a cold/flu/infection and from personal experience this is NOT a good idea. :cry:

    I wish opera singers would take more drugs - maybe a bit of ganga or perhaps acid

    Might make the music more interesting.

    I might even go and watch some myself
