Looking to change my cassette, is there is a reason some Campagnolo cassettes are sold with lockrings and some without, i take it that all cassettes need a lockring or am I being thick.
Thanks all

Locking rings are needed I presume but are they different sizes for different size cassettes.

11 up cassettes come with lockrings, 12 up ones don't. That's because Campag hubs (and wheels) come with lockrings suitable for 12 tooth sprockets.

Thanks for that aracer, so thats means changing my 12-23 for 12-26 I can use the same lockring......What about a 13-29?........... Learning all the time.
