Mornin' all.

Been checking these out on CRC as an upgrade from my current cheapo mechanical discs. Mainly for fast XC use. I've read some good comments about shimano hydro discs (Deore) though.

Anyone got experience of the threes vs. Shimanos?

    Cheers Nick.

CRC only have the front brake (Deore M525) with LH lever, and rear with RH lever. I run my brakes the other way round though. Do you know if the levers will be ok flipped?

Also are the M535 any better than M525? They're £15 more per brake but I can't find any info on why.

    Thanks for your help.

you will need to disconect and swap followed by a bleed.

    get the 3's.

I have both Deore LX and Juicy 3s with goodridge Hoses. I would pick my Juicy 3s over the Deores , they are alot more powerful and have a much nicer feel to the levers than shimanos.
