Starting to plan for this now.
All I need to know at the moment is if anyone has done it, is there a fast group?
I realise the start is open ended to a certain degree, but do people "race it" like in La Marmotte or The Etape. If so what time do the fast lads start?

If you need general info on logistics etc PM me because I have two friends who rode it in 2006. I can get lots of info off them.
What I'm specifically trying to get info on is regarding a group who race the event like most other French sportives.0 -

There are groups of riders bombing through all the time - just keep your eyes open. You'd be unlucky to arrive at the velodrome with no-one to sprint against.0
