  • My fiver's on Di Luca.
As an aside, why are some teams listed under their DS's name and not their sponsor?
Remember that you are an Englishman and thus have won first prize in the lottery of life.

Wim van Rossum, who runs the www.cycling4all.com site, is an advocate for cleaner cycling. Part of his campaign is to not give teams who have drugs history the oxygen of publicity so he refers to them by the name of the team director, hence Team Bruyneel, Team Aldag, Team Riis etc.

Whilst I agree with a lot of what he advocates I do think he's a little inconsistent in how he applies this, i.e. how come it's not Team Gianetti instead of Saunier Duval?

In joke to do with admission, allegation and assumptions of having been doping or condoning doping....it's a long story.

    The official site:

    http://canales.diariovasco.com/clasica-sansebastian/

With race profile (recorrido) and another startlist (participantes).

    This is the lowest rank Pro Tour race, so the scoring goes from 1st to 10th: 40, 30, 25, 20, 15, 11, 7, 5, 3, 1.
  • Di Luca for me please.

Davide 'tin-tin' Rebellin for me too thanks.

Does anyone else think he invented that nickname to avoid the obvious Soft Cell references?

    Davide Rebellin.
  • Picking a winner for this one brings needles and haystacks to mind!

But as he finished well in this one last year and has won lots this year (and no-one's talking about him) I'll have...

    Riccardo Ricco

(by the way Paolo Bettini isn't riding whoever picked him)

That was Bronzie at the start of the thread but I didn't think there was much point telling him as he is away - it'll be a surprise for him on his return

anyway, it'll probably be some cheatie Spaniard (like what most of you have seemed to have picked) what wins but I refuse to pick one, so for me it's gonna be

    Andy Schleck

    <moral highground :wink: >

My bid for overall GC glory has crashed and burned, so its time to go for stage victories. To be a little different I'm going to say

    Allan Davis

He'll be fresh and Spain's his back yard. Its not a pure climbers classic and if he can stay with the front group he would have on of the best kicks amongst them.

Also Iain says its alright to pick Disco riders now.
It's a little like wrestling a gorilla. You don't quit when you're tired. You quit when the gorilla is tired.

    Danilo Di Luca

And I suggest we give him to Bronzie too as he's a similar rider. (Well he speaks the same language)

    Di Luca.

Which of course means George Hincapie is bound to win.
Fckin' Quintana … that creep can roll, man.
