Only switched on half way through his TT. Hadn't realised it was quite so bad at the start. At least it meant he had something left for yesterday so managed 8th on the Champs.

As usual a good article from him. I'll miss reading his diaries. I think he'll do alright for regular writing spots in future.

    My team car was still back at the start sorting out the other bike so I took the opportunity to kick the living sh!t out of the rear wheel while waiting for the car to realize I was in trouble. In hind sight, I'm glad my foot didn't get stuck in the wheel because that would have been really embarrassing.

    Damn that guy has a great sense of humour, even now when the sh!t has hit. :lol:

    Great to see him up there in the sprint as well............chapeau David!
  • His humour is love it or hate it...very "British". Personally I find him very amusing in the same way I found Douglas Adams to be.

    Enjoyed quite a few of them, the tale of Mark Cavendish and some black sticky tape was a good one.
