ive just started mtb but have no one to cycle with at the weekends,so is there a group or someone who would like a cycle bud just let me know,i live in the swindon area and got me an xc bike,i have been up on the downs but would like to cycle with more experienced people.

    You could always have a look or make a post in the 'Rides' section a little way up the forum list.

    You may very well find a group to ride with.

    I've being trying to mountain bike in swindon for about 5 years now and as far as i know there isn't any large group of bikers in swindon.

    I would offer to ride with you, but unfortunately I ride downhill (have to drive to damn swindon's flatness) freeride and the occasional jumping session. I can advise you that the ridgeway near wroughton would probably make quite good cross country.
