Whats this on news at ten about rasmusson out of tour? They said it was to do with him not notifying Danish Fed about his weherabouts during race? I am confused!!

According to www.cyclingnews.com it's his team manager who's withdrawn him, for lying to the team about his whereabouts when the Danish Fed were not notified of his location.

Yellow jersey Michael Rasmussen will reportedly not be at the start of the Tour de France's 17th stage Thursday morning according to L'Equipe. He was withdrawn from the race by his Rabobank team for reasons which were not specified. Rasmussen won Wednesday's Stage 16 finishing at Col dʼAubisque.
The news comes just hours after the news that Cofidis' Cristian Moreni tested positive for testosterone, leading to that team's withdrawal from the race.
It is not clear yet if it is related to the comments made by Davide Cassani, the commentator for Italian TV channel RAI, to Danish news source DR. Cassani claimed that he had seen Rasmussen in the Dolomites on June 13 or 14. The Dane has claimed he spent June 4 through 26 in Mexico for training.0 -
