Brompton on M5 Motorway!

I was travelling from North Wales to Hampshire last Friday evening & was one of the thousands of motorists stuck on the M5 as a result of the torrential rain. We were sitting in the stationary traffic from about 8.00pm about two miles from Strencham Services south of Worcester.Once people realised we were stuck for the night,they were wandering down to the Service Area to try & get food & drink, so I decided to get the Brompton out of the boot & ride down.
The sight of the bike caused quite a lot of amusement & comments!
Can I claim to be the first to have ridden a bike down the fast lane of the M5?

    Maybe the M5 - the week before they opened the M40 in Warwickshire, my club mates and I TTT'd our way up the brand-new motorway
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
