Oil or diesel on the road

On the way home last night I ran over a trail of oil or diesel on a roundabout. As I was on my road bike with slick tyres I got a nice 2 wheel slide on the go at around 20mph and way extremely lucky (tempted to say skillful but it would be an outrught lie) to stay up.

Must admit it brought a smile to my face when I got out of it but not something I plan to do again.

Will have to be a lot more careful in the future when in the middle of the inside lane I think.
