Commuting Bike Help!!

Looking to convert a mtb into a fully road commuting bike and wanted some help with What ; Rigid forks,Tyres to use on my bike here i what i have found.

    Both are good choices - the Kona P2s are great rigid forks, and the Continental Sports Contact I had no problem with, although because my commute route involves some mild trail and loose surface areas (which are often wet), I'm now using their Travel Contact semis - better if your route is not all road.
