Braze-on front mech lug snapped!

I have a Basso Champion commuter bike that has a Campag Centaur 10 speed braze-on front mech. The lug has a large crack in it and is about to snap off :( Shifting rings is now nearly impossible due to the movement in the mech. Can I repair or should I convert to band on? The bike has a 9 speed Shimano 105 rear mech with Ultegra 9 speed shifters. Thanks in advance.

    Break the tab off and file the remnants flush with the seat tube - you can then use a band-on adaptor - you don't even need to buy a new front mech. Make sure you don't file into the seat tube though as it could weaken it.
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
