25.8mm - ITM Big one..

Not to sure on the saftey of this after a few years and want to replace it - would a 26.0mm clamp fit stem' do the job it [?]

    26.0 stems can work fine with 25.8 bars, in my experience.

    At a shop local, Thatto cycles in St Helens, mentioned that he had seen many that had gone round the welds and as mines a few years old...

    In 2 minds though, but've had a thread failure, on the h.bar clamp, recent on it too !
