Where can I get a 24mm diameter seatpost?

Yes, it's for a Peugeot frame (that's on its way to becoming a fixie). It came with a chrome steel one that needs one of those ugly clips on the top; I want something a bit more elegant.

Any ideas?

Feckin pugs, I bought a cheap micro adjust 25mm post with a good wall thickness and turned it to size. Sorry best I can suggest.

    That's my Plan B.

Would those be the ugly clips that don't seem to accommodate any modern saddle? [:D]

The clip I've got does accommodate the saddle I want to use, which is only... erm five years old or so. But while functional, it's an infernally inelegant thing.

Getting a lathe person to turn down a 25mm one is one option I'll probably have to pursue. Anyone have any thoughts on the converse: reaming out the frame's seat lug a little? I'd rather not try this as the worst that could happen is a wrecked frame. The worst of a turned-down seatpost is a ruined seatpost. And that has more metal to remove in the first place.
