Caliper and pads
I have a deore caliper on the back. it takes the same pads as the saint model. I have been putting in sintered pads in and bedding them in before riding on them. The problem is that i have just gone through 2 sets in the last 3 weeks. the first set lasted me about 3 months. I have been doing the same level of riding throughout.
when i have removed them the one pad is well worn down but the other isnt. it is also being worn at an angle, being worn closer to the wheel hub. My thoughts are that the pistons have been sticking. I took the pads out tonight and extended the pistons as far as poss and cleaned em and sprayed em with oil. Do u think that this will solve the prob or do u think it may be something else.
thx

It may solve the problem, but the caliper has to be correctly aligned too. Only use hydraulic fluid as found in the lines on the pistons. Are they exactly the same make of pads?

both pads are fibrax sintered. I have aligned the pads as per instructions. (loosen the bolts squeeze the brake lever and then retighten)0
