will all disc brakes fit on all bikes, or are the specific to a certain bike. thanks karl.

if you get the correct parts then they will fit and bike that is disc ready. IE. frame and fork have caliper mounts and the hubs have a means for attaching discs.

they are all pretty much universal fitting, especially to the frame where it will be the International Standard mount. The forks make things more complicated, but readily available brake adaptors can be used to make the calliper fit.Also the wheel hubs must be disc compatible.All in all any brake can be used with any bike.
