hi
can anyone help me with tyre choice?
i currently run nokion NBT's(No B******d Traction)
i'am not imprest with the grip on wet chalky trails (dunstable downs) my old bontrager jones's were much better but they went with my old bike, pressure only makes a slight difference and i'm fed up with nearly crashing every time it rains[B)]
cheers

I got a pair of wtb timberwolfs for 19.99 on CRC They seem heavy, maybe too heavy for you as they have DH casing, but I've been impressed with their grip and for the price you can't complain.

Maybe some High Rollers, they seem fine with me on loose ground and in the wet, and you can them with a single casing IIRC

What size tyres are you looking for? high rollers are available in a few sizes iirc, and if you are looking at them, i'd suggest the supertacky compound.

Something round here tastes bad. Could be plain old bad taste.

hi
i,m looking for 2.1 tyre's and the nokion nbt's came standard on my kona kikapu deluxe 06 ,i belive the oe tyres are a cheep option.
the bike is very good, much better than my old trek hard tail !but the tyres let go as soon as it get's wet! and it gets scary as the downs are my local ride so no flat stuff !!!0 -
