Cheltenham ride - July 1 + 8th (official beerfest)

I'm not going to be able to make the 1st anymore. I'm heading off to the Lake District in the morning.

Since Rich can't make the 8th, would anyone be against moving both dates to the Saturdays before. So the 30th and the 7th?

Work on Saturdays, and I can't take another one off, I've got 4 in a row in the busiest time.

I'm still there on 1st, anyway, so we can have a Ddoogieless one then, then on the 8th a Richless one?

If there's an uphill race, I'll bring me XTC. Much easier to climb on. Sandy Lane to top of Goatsteps anyone?

Right, next Sunday, 1st June. Leckhampton. Who's coming and what type of riding do you want to do? We can make it more a DH / FR session, or a more XC orientated one, taking in some of the tougher climbs?

I know both Me and Dave will be up, also Dave's friend.

If you can clean Mill Lane, you're pretty much set for Lecky. There are plenty of routes that you can mix and match to your ability. I'd bring the shinnies though, just in case.

May as well arrange a time for the 8th as well then. I'm not such a morning person so its going to be 1200 at the top of Rising Sun Lane which is by the Rising Sun Hotel, Southam.

Lecky road, turn left into Daisybank Road or Lane, take a right into car park. You can't miss it.

OK-

I'm building up my new bike on Saturday, which means theres a good chance I can make it on the 1st (the next day) but I won't be going too quickly depending on how much riding I can get in the day before, partly because I'll have to get used to the bike and secondly because stuff will still be breaking in, especially the forks.

8th should be definitely okay though.
