Dorset/Somerset?

Hi,

I'm picking up my new bike next week and don't really know where to ride it! I'm in north Dorset, but don't mind traveling an hour or so to find somewhere. Where is good to ride? I hear the Quantocks are good, but are there any particular routes to take? What about the New Forest and other places?

any good singletrack/downhill/trails in the area. i'm around that area this weekend and was looking for somewhere to ride on friday.

also is there a pay-to-ride freeride park down in the south west?

Go to the Quantocks plenty of routes up there and some really go singletrack. When I ride up there me and my mates just turn up a ride what we feel like riding on the day.
