Reasonable day here after gloomy start. Managed walk to post office then onto pharma for drugs. Half killed me but further than I managed before. Obviously wrong drugs. Should have asked for amphetamines.

CyclingUK and Yet Another Cycling Forum (YACF) are both active places. Have had an account on both of those for many years, don't post a lot. YACF can be quite useful source of info (and opinions) on lots of stuff, cycling related and lots of others - politics, health, legal, general banter...

Chilly and sunny day, spent most of it indoors foxing leaking cistern. Why the hell do toilet companies supply standard steel bolts, nuts and washers to bolt the cistern to the loo, it was a massive of rust, had to hacksaw bolts off then drill them. So replacing the coupling seal turned into a most of the day job.
